Let Michael Jackson Sing "They Don't Really Care About Us!"

I’ve not been doing much lately.

I’ve certainly not been working and this is the first time I’ve sat down here for about two weeks.

Or maybe three.

On the 9th, I went to visit Marilyn in the hospital and found out about her advanced lung cancer that ate through her spine.

Then we had the wedding that weekend.

That Thursday, I went out to help my sister Elizabeth take care of Marilyn until she died last Monday.

Last Christmas, Marilyn was snowed in and needed supplies so we went up, delivered all sorts of goodies and I got to spend the day with her.

We’ve discussed my Shriners investigation since the beginning and on that day in particular, I described the court cases against members of the Shriners secret sub-group, the Royal Order of Jesters, and their involvement with prostitution, human trafficking, sex slavery and child sex tourism.

Marilyn just flipped out.

She married my dad, Jack Frost, after he divorced my Mom. He picked me and my younger sister up for weekend visits and I remember following Marilyn around like a lost little puppy.

We’d talk about everything as she taught me to cook and sew and to love the garden and about spirituality and thus we did so for nearly 50 years.

Marilyn told me that Dad, who passed away years ago, was proud to be a Mason and that he thought that they were a great group of guys and that he’d be shocked to know what I was finding out.

Well, that and she had gone back to the University of Washington to get her Masters in Special Education and went on to become director of a facility where parents could bring their severely handicapped and disabled babies and toddlers for recreation, play and music.

Marilyn’s life was dedicated to helping kids, so she was way beyond horrified to learn that about how some Shriner leaders seem to hide behind the burned and crippled children to abuse their positions of public trust for private gain.

I told her about the fishing tour operator defamation lawsuit and what was contained in the witness list for the defense as well as the depositions from five Brazilian Indian girls about how they were recruited into prositution as well as two fishing guides who testified about what they saw during these Masonic fishing trips.

She went ballistic but also helped me process my own abuse-related stuff so I could stay focused on the issues at hand instead of becoming a slave to my own emotional meltdowns.

Reading those depositions hit me really hard and someday I hope to write an article to help other journalists cover misogynistic sex crimes so they don’t sound like sex perverts or end up in therapy.

It’s tough enough to write about subjects that other media have shunned because their ratings will go down. Who wants to watch about pedophilia and child sex tourism when they can be otherwise brainless and entertained?

When we were alone in her hospital room after she’d been diagnosed, Marilyn took my face in her hands, looked into my eyes and told me “Sandra, don’t you ever stop what you’re doing. Don’t you ever stop.”

I knew I’d have quiet time as I stayed with her, so I took the depositions in the Schair v Marsteller defamation case. I spent quiet nights reading and highlighting legal documents that describe both sides of a Brazilian federal police investigation “that since the year 2000, minor Indian and other girls living near the rivers in the region of the Municipality of Autazes/AM became victims of sexual exploitation by North American tourists.”

My next step is to take what I highlighted and put together a PowerPoint that will be broadcast on YouTube.

The world needs to learn about the testimony of those fishing guides and Indian girls so that Brazilian and U.S. authorities will diligently and thoroughly investigate those allegedly involved with operating and/or participating in a prostitution network that included child sex tourism.

So, the past few days I’ve been watching news coverage of the Michael Jackson (MJ) death. I hope ratings are up because as far as I can tell, coverage has an even blend of King of Pop v pedophile scandal. MSNBC has been playing past news shows that were produced to provide more information during certain Michael Jackson events and they are pretty good.

I’ve been a commercial surfer since ever since and surfed over to VH1 Classic to watch the 24/7 MJ videos.

I will always remember Michael Jackson doing “Billie Jean” on “Motown 25.”

I knew I was watching history.

“Billie Jean” is by far the best dance song of all time.

The thing that MJ did the best was get people up dancing which is good for everybody!

It’s such a universal way of communicating and sharing.

And this performance is Michael Jackson’s best.



One of the things I watched lately is a Michael Jackson video from “HiStory.”

It’s called “They Don’t Really Care About Us.”

It was filmed in Brazil and Michael Jackson is singing about those who are repressed, abused and victimized in a universal kind of way, including himself.

The way those Brazilians drum and dance about their condition is a great way to tell this story.

Especially the kids.

I saw this and watched it on YouTube and the lights went off like Fourth of July in Seattle.

I did some very important work while I was with Marilyn before she passed away and realized quite a few things.

The testimony from the five Jane Does and the two fishing tour guides points to a very serious problem, so serious that as the evidence seemed to build up against him, Schair settled out of court.

A new deposition provided to the Brazilian Federal Police by another girl alleges pedophilia after being lured onto the same fishing boat described by the other girls.

So now, a few things need to happen here.

I don’t have any control or influence in Brazil and depend on the honorable efforts and intentions of those authorities currently investigating allegations of and are pursuing the indictment of the North American who may be charged with operating a prostitution network and facilitating child sex tourism.

But I can sure raise some hell here.

First, the laws of the land must be enforced.

If there is evidence, and it appears that there is enough for Brazil to indict, it must be investigated for the crimes of sex tourism and child sex tourism.

FYI, from Wikipedia:

“Child sex tourism (CST) is a travel to a foreign country for the purpose of engaging in commercial sexual abuse of children.[1] As a form of sexual exploitation of children, child sex tourism results in both mental and physical consequences for the exploited children, that may include "disease (including HIV/AIDS), drug addiction, pregnancy, malnutrition, social ostracism, and possibly death", according to the State Department of the United States.[1]”

Associated penalties are quite stiff.

United States citizens or residents who engage in sexual activity abroad with a child under 18 and/or those who organize such trips can face 30 years in a U.S. prison and life in prison for two-time offenders.

And there is no statute of limitations.

Specifically, from the Department of Justice:

“Those who profit from victimizing children and adults in the sex trade are only one half of the problem. The other half are those who patronize this exploitive industry. Federal statutes hold those who travel to do so, and those who benefit from arranging that travel, accountable. For example, 18 U.S.C. § 2423(b) prohibits traveling across state lines or into the United States for the purpose of engaging in any illicit sexual conduct (which includes any commercial sex act with a person under 18) and carries a 30 year maximum sentence, while 18 U.S.C. § 2423(c) prohibits an American citizen or national engaging in illicit sexual conduct outside the United States and carries a 30 year maximum sentence. 18 U.S.C. § 2423(c) does not require that the citizen have traveled outside the country with the purpose of engaging in illicit sexual conduct in a foreign country. 18 U.S.C. § 2423(d) prohibits arranging or facilitating, for financial gain, another person's travel to engage in illicit sexual conduct and carries a 30 year maximum sentence.”

NGOs must band together to further educate the public about these horrific crimes and call for investigation into child sex tourism and pedophilia starting with the North American side of the Peacock Bass Fishing tour industry that operates in Brazil.

Members of the Shriners secret sub-group, the Royal Order of Jesters, are being investigated for child sex tourism, so linking them to their 19 brothers who hired Schiar to go fishing in Brazil seems quite natural.

One of Schair’s Peacock Bass fishing tour operator buddies was recently arrested by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation for kiddie porn and the sexual exploitation of children, newscast here.

I'm sure you get the idea.

After Marilyn’s funeral, I’m going to get that PowerPoint presentation up on YouTube as well as finish an editorial about why these seemingly related things must be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

I vote for the US Senate Committee on Foreign Relations and the State Department Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons.

In summary, the Royal Order of Jesters investigation out of Buffalo now includes child sex tourism.

The Schair v Marsteller defamation lawsuit listed 19 high-profile Jesters on a witness list for the defense. Included in the court documents were also depositions from two Brazilian fishing guides who allegedly witnessed these “Masons” having sex with underage girls while on one of Schair’s fishing trips.

The Brazilian federal police have been investigating the sexual exploitation of minor and other Indian girls by North Americans and took depositions from five Jane Does who alleged that a North American, “Richard,” illegally entered their reservations and lured them into prostitution with North American tourists.

Another Peacock Bass fishing tour operator, Scott Swanson, with probable business connections to Schair, was recently arrested by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation in a “sexting” case out of Pennsylvania and was charged with “criminal solicitation and corruption of minors for making internet contact of a sexual nature with a 14 year-old Tunkhannock area middle school student.”

Another deposition has been provided to the Brazilian Federal Police by a thirteen year old, similar to the other Jane Does, except she alleges pedophilia.

There are too many coincidences here.

Too many people alleging the same things.

Too many authorities investigating the same things.

Michael Jackson paid his lawyers big bucks to settle pedophilia lawsuits out of court to avoid being ruined by such prosecutions.

Let’s hope that this is not the case.

It’s my job to give voice to the voiceless, including those Brazilian Indian girls who are forever scarred, forced to live unlivable lives.

Like Michael sings:
